BFS was engaged as the fire designer for a comprehensive fire system upgrade project at 440 Victoria Street, Wetherill Park. The property contains various NCC classes, This initiative, which underscored our dedication to professionalism and excellence, encompassed several crucial components to enhance the site's fire protection infrastructure. Additionally, our professional collaboration with other services was a key aspect of this project. We are committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation while maintaining a strong foundation in best practices.
The project included the replacement and relocation of two fire tanks, two fire pumps, and a booster assembly. Two 160kL fire tanks were upgraded and relocated to new positions on the site. This task was undertaken to ensure optimal water storage capacity and accessibility for fire suppression.
Two diesel fire pumps were upgraded and relocated. These upgrades were necessary to enhance the efficiency and reliability of the fire suppression system. By integrating sustainable practices with advanced technologies, we ensure a forward-thinking approach that addresses both current and future needs.
A new booster assembly was installed at a new location due to the change in the property boundary. The relocation design complied with AS 2419.1:2021 and ensured ease of access for fire brigades.
