Our client, Stryker, is in the process of expanding its business and is establishing a new warehouse and office at 8 Caribbean Park Drive, Scoresby. This integrated facility will combine both storage and office space, providing a comprehensive business environment. 

To support Stryker’s expansion, we are engaged in modifying and upgrading the existing fire protection system to align with the new layout while maintaining compliance with current regulations. The key tasks include:

        1. Maintaining the Existing System

• Retaining the core fire protection infrastructure to reduce unnecessary costs.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations while optimizing system performance.

        2. System Modifications & Additions

• Upgrading speakers and detectors to match the new warehouse and office design.
• Implementing a cost-effective Sprinkler system design tailored to the architect’s specifications.
• Adding limited new devices where necessary to enhance system functionality without excessive costs.

        3. Architectural Coordination

• Close collaboration with architects to ensure that all fire safety services are integrated smoothly into the design.
• Addressing site-specific challenges through multiple coordination meetings.

• Cost Efficiency: Maintain most of the existing system while making necessary enhancements to minimize expenses.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure all modifications align with fire safety regulations and meet operational requirements.
• Seamless Integration: Work closely with architects and project teams to integrate fire protection measures effectively within the new space.
